Grammar School, Školská 7 is a four-year grammar school in Spišská Nová Ves. The grammar school was founded in 1866 and has been building a traditional quality label in the region ever since. The grammar school is focused on general education, but it also offers a form of study focused on computer science, foreign languages or physical education.
These alternative forms of study consist of an extended number of hours of foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Russian), computer science, or physical education. The study ends with a graduation exam.
Currently, the school is attended by 614 students, who are constantly involved in various international and national projects and competitions. In addition to these opportunities, the Grammar School annually offers its students the opportunity to: ski training (for 1st year students), swimming training (for 2nd year students), goal training (for 3rd year students)
