The Košice IT Valley cluster is involved in projects that support activities within its pillars and that bring added value to the city or region.

Lab IT Creativity 2.0

Lab IT Creativity is a long-term educational initiative aimed at developing technological talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills among young people in Eastern Slovakia. The project connects high school students, university mentors, IT companies, and regional institutions to create an environment where students can develop their ideas, gain practical experience, and explore the technological and entrepreneurial ecosystem of the region.

Danube4Rural.com

Košice IT Valley has joined the Danube4Rural.com project, which unites partners from across the Danube region to tackle rural depopulation and support sustainable development. Together, we work on designing and testing policies focused on quality of life, financial incentives, and regulatory framework improvements.

INTERREG Hungary – Slovakia

The main idea of the project is to create a platform that would bring together experts, academics, public administration representatives, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to jointly debate and find solutions to the challenges facing the Carpathian region, while contributing to strengthening cross-border social cohesion and partnership.

EDIH CASSOVIUM

EDIH Cassovium helps businesses and the public sector on their digital transformation journey through consulting, support, and providing access to the latest technological trends and solutions.

INVESTech

The project seeks to respond to the changing needs of the ICT sector by fostering collaboration between education, the labour market and other stakeholders, enhancing the quality of skills development, promoting green transformation and ensuring social inclusion.

Ulysseus European University

The aim of the project is to create an exceptionally renowned European university built on European values of social cohesion and respect for human rights. European universities should be open to the world, institutions of solidarity beyond Europe’s borders.

Women in Tech

The project develops two themes related to women in IT and women entrepreneurs- digital literacy and gender-based violence and sexual harassment in the workplace.

Let’s educate virtually

Virtual reality (VR) will impact education in the future by opening the door to presenting some things without the use of chalk and whiteboards. The aim of the project is to enable teachers to understand the potential of VR in innovative education.

KOSICE 2.0

The Košice 2.0 project is primarily about citizens. Not only those for whom our city is home, but also those who work, study, create and spend their free time here. The citizen is an integral part of the project’s activities.

CYBER – Regional policies for competitive cybersecurity SMEs Interreg Europe

The project provided an insight into the state of cybersecurity in SMEs and aimed to bring about improvements and adjustments in methods and policy in this area.

BizMOOC

BizMOOC addressed the challenge for Europe to enable companies, the workforce and universities to scale up their operations and harness the potential of MOOCs – open online courses aimed at the general public.

LEGEND

“Leverage knowledge for sustainable innovation and growth” (LEGEND) was aimed at increasing the use of knowledge among Slovak small and medium-sized enterprises, thus supporting their sustainable growth and focus on innovation.

EXCITE (“Entrepreneurs eXchange for Innovations in Europe”)

Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs was a cross-border exchange programme that gave new or aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn from experienced entrepreneurs from other participating countries who were already running their own small businesses.

IT Valley 2012+

The main task of the project was to create a communication platform for stakeholders that would provide a space for sharing visions with an emphasis on innovation and subsequently generate space for collaborative activities and meeting the needs of individual actors.
