WRO 2026 SLOVAK CHAMPIONSHIP OF INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Opportunities

The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is one of the largest international robotics competitions for young talent in STEM, programming and robotics. The competition connects education, innovation and technological development for young people aged 8 to 19. In Slovakia, it has been organised by Talentum Cassoviensis in cooperation with Edutus University in Hungary since 2019.

EduScrum for educators

Education, Opportunities

The workshop introduces Scrum and eduScrum as modern agile approaches usable in school environments and team collaboration. Participants will learn about the basic principles of Scrum, roles in a team and the different Scrum ceremonies. Through interactive activities and hands-on exercises, they will experience how an agile team works in practice and experience the benefits of effective collaboration, planning and self-reflection. The workshop offers inspiration on how to respond flexibly to change, manage complex tasks more easily, and support continuous improvement of both the team and individuals.

Developing entrepreneurship in young people

Košice IT Valley develops entrepreneurship, creativity and technical skills of young people through the Lab IT Creativity 2.0 project. It connects schools, universities and IT companies, offers mentoring, workshops and project work, and prepares students for the real challenges of practice.
