V4 countries and ICT

Košice IT Valley has prepared a clear dashboard that compares the development of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the V4 countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland) in the context of the European Union average (EU27). The aim of the visualization is to provide a comprehensive view of Slovakia’s position in this dynamically evolving sector.

The dashboard analyzes several key indicators, such as the share of ICT specialists in overall employment, their presence in online job postings, the impact of the ICT sector on countries’ GDP, as well as the number of registered ICT companies. The data clearly show that the ICT sector is gaining importance in the V4 countries, with Slovakia approaching the EU average in many areas.

The visualization thus provides valuable insights for policymakers, the business environment, and the professional public interested in the future of the digital economy in the Central European region.
