Approximately 230,000 people work in the healthcare sector in Slovakia. In eastern Slovakia, this is one in ten residents. It is in this region that an innovative MedTech ecosystem is gradually taking shape, which wants to connect research, startups, hospitals, universities and technology companies into one functional unit. The goal is not only to make healthcare provision more efficient, but also to create a breeding ground for the emergence of globally competitive solutions.
