The final of the 11th edition of the Živé IT projekty 2026 event took place on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in the Aula Maxima at the Technical University of Košice. Student teams once again demonstrated their ability to deliver solutions with a clear real-world impact, ranging from information system prototypes to web and mobile applications and intelligent interfaces.
A total of 80 teams and 360 students took part in the competition. They worked for approximately four months under the guidance of mentors from companies and organizations. In addition to Slovak teams, participants from Cyprus and Lithuania were also involved this year, giving the event an international dimension.
