Zborovňa is a professional conference designed for secondary school teachers with a focus on STEM fields, which brings current topics, inspiration and practical examples that can be used directly in teaching.
The conference will take place on 19 February 2026 at UVP Technicom in Košice from 9:00 to 15:30 and is free of charge for all participants.
What will the Choir Room be about?
The conference programme is divided into morning keynote sessions and afternoon workshop sessions, offering participants a combination of inspiration, up-to-date information and practical skills for use in the classroom.
Morning keynote blocks
In the two keynote sessions in the morning, we will focus on topical issues that are significantly influencing contemporary education:
- Artificial intelligence and the young generation - keynote GenerAItion Z - lost in the online world? by Digital Parents, focusing on the impact of digital environments and AI on young people.
- Current innovations, strategies and topics from the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic.
- News and opportunities from the laboratories of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Košice, specifically from the Department of Space Physics, which will present the interconnection of science, research and education.
- Science education innovations from Science Window,
- Discussion on artificial intelligence in education - its benefits, risks and impact on pedagogical practice.
Afternoon workshop blocks
The afternoon will be followed by two parallel workshop blocks, where participants will be able to choose from a number of practically oriented workshops focused on the development of specific skills:
- AI tool NotebookLM in practice - workshop by EDU AI
- Modern Classroom - Innovative Approaches in Teaching from Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice
- Setting up chemical protocols - a practical workshop from the Science Window
- Practical Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education - Zuzana Tkáčová
- Presentation skills and facilitation of the training block - SUVKO Coaching
- Media literacy - Lemur
- and other thematic workshops reflecting the current needs of educators.
The programme is designed to provide educators with concrete tools, inspiration and know-how that they can immediately apply in their daily teaching practice.
