Hands-on workshops, real cyber incidents and meetings with practitioners. Spring CyberSecurityDay 2026 will bring a day full of interactive learning, discussions and competitions for all those interested in information and cyber security. The event will take place on 6 June 2026 at the Faculty of Science of UPJŠ in Košice and will offer a combination of expert lectures, practical workshops and informal networking.
Participants will be able to choose from a number of parallel workshops focused on the security of web communications, the risks of artificial intelligence in security systems or OSINT techniques used in digital footprint analysis. The programme will be complemented by a lecture by an expert from ESET, who will present the possibilities of decentralised communication in crisis situations without the Internet and mobile networks.
The event will also include a Pub Quiz, competitions for interesting prizes and a discussion area with professionals who deal with security incidents on a daily basis. CyberSecurityDay connects students, educators, IT enthusiasts and practitioners, creating a community of people who care about a safer digital space.
