The European Day for Women and Girls in ICT is an inspiring event aimed at promoting girls in technology that will take place on 17 April 2026 at UVP Technicom in Košice. The event is organised by our member organisation Women's Algorithm in collaboration with partners from the public, academic and private sectors.
The event is designed especially for elementary and high school students, educators and parents, offering an overview of STEM study and career opportunities. Participants can look forward to inspiring lectures, interactive workshops, presentations of technology solutions and demonstrations of innovative projects from the region.
The aim of the event is to break down stereotypes, motivate girls to study technical fields and show them the wide range of opportunities in the digital world. The event also creates a space to meet female practitioners and strengthens the link between education, innovation and the tech ecosystem.
