Conference: Region of the Future – the future of the region

How will artificial intelligence affect our society? This will be the theme of the conference Region of the Future – the future of the region.

The Eastern Slovakia region has long been known for the ICT sector, which employs the most people of all other sectors in Košice. With each arrival of new technologies there are disruptive changes, which also result in the loss of jobs in the case of monotonous and repetitive activities, but at the same time new ones are created.

Is the advent of artificial intelligence a benefit or a loss for Slovak society and the local economy? What do political leaders need to ensure that the arrival of new technologies is as painless as possible for our country? Are local companies competitive on the global market and what advanced technological solutions do they offer?

We will seek answers to these and other questions together at our event.

The conference will take place on Wednesday 21 June 2023 at the East Slovak Gallery in Košice.

It is necessary to pre-register for the conference no later than Monday 19 June 2023. You can register here: https://www.regionbuducnosti.sk/en/registr%C3%A1cia
