Daren Tang, Director general of the World Intellectual Property Organization, praised the approach and enthusiasm of Košice It Valley, with which the cluster approaches innovation projects in eastern Slovakia.
During his visit to Slovakia, the General Director of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Mr. Daren Tang, accompanied by the Chairman of the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Mgr. Matúša Medveca.
Juraj Girman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Košice IT Valley, accompanied by Petr Šoltés, Board Member, IT Valley Project Manager Viktor Mitruk and CEO of one of Košice’s most successful Matsuko startups, Matúš Kirchmayer, welcomed the delegation to the Technicom University Science Park.
At the meeting, they presented Košice as a city with great potential for future growth and development in the field of innovation thanks to its unique undergrowth. The basis is a well-functioning ecosystem in which universities, companies and local governments work together and support each other.
