IT MAP is the result of the Košice IT Valley initiative as part of its efforts to provide a comprehensive picture of the IT sector in eastern Slovakia. The idea to create a comprehensive and free database in the field of IT arose from the need to raise the profile of this segment, as well as the presentation of eastern Slovakia as a place favourable for the IT sector and digital innovation. The map also offers space for the presentation and visibility of individual entities.

The interactive map allows you to search for IT companies, start-ups, educational institutions, as well as research and development centres, accelerators and more. We believe in its versatile use by the general public, beginning entrepreneurs, students, job seekers in the IT sector, but we also perceive it as a tool for investors, public administration and business partners.

The IT map is the first of its kind in Slovakia and was also created thanks to the project partners Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions and Slovak Business Agency.
