IHRA – competition for creating computer games

Participants (individuals and teams) form games that they submit within a set deadline and present at a joint meeting. IHRA is designed for pupils, students, enthusiasts and professional developers. The competition is organized by the Institute of Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of UPJŠ in Košice. Organizers can be contacted at ihra@science.upjs.sk.

IHRA has quite free rules without time, theme or tools to encourage people to sit down and create something of interest to them. The challenge is to think of a game and bring it to play. As part of the competition you can present the game and meet other enthusiasts. The best games will be rewarded.

The competition takes place once a year; games are sent in spring and presented during the Student Scientific Conference at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of UPJŠ in Košice. The results of the 5th competition will be announced on April 26, 2017.

You can find more information on the competition website.
